Are pets allowed at the Embassy Inn?
Absolutely! We welcome pets in select pet-friendly rooms for a fee of $20/night + taxes. To help us prepare for your arrival, please contact us in advance so we can ensure the appropriate room is available for you and your companion.

Is smoking permitted?
No. Embassy Inn is a 100% non-smoking property. Guests who smoke or vape in guest rooms or other non-designated areas will be charged a minimum cleaning fee of $250. Those who wish to smoke can do so outside in designated areas.

Do you offer accessible rooms?
Yes, our Signature Accessible Room features an accessible bathroom with a roll-in shower and toilet both with grab bars and widened doorways, ensuring a seamless and comfortable stay.

Do you offer cribs, rollaway beds or extra bedding?
Yes. We can provide one complimentary playpen and, for an additional fee of $25/night + taxes, one rollaway bed for adult guests in select rooms. Our Queen Suite also includes a queen sofa bed in the separate living area, and extra bedding is provided for added convenience.

Are the rooms air-conditioned?
Yes. All our rooms and suites have air conditioning to keep you cool during the warmer months.

Do you have a guest laundry facility?
Yes. We offer a convenient self-serve coin-operated laundry facility on site, and we can also arrange dry cleaning services upon request.

What is your cancellation policy?
Standard room cancellation policy is that reservations must be cancelled with 48 hours’ notice prior to arrival to avoid a penalty of one night’s room and tax.

Yes. We’re located in James Bay, a charming neighbourhood just steps from Victoria’s top sights, including the Inner Harbour, the Parliament Buildings, the Royal BC Museum and many shops, restaurants and waterfront paths.
